Bushbond is a slang term used primarily by law enforcement, and mainly in the southern portion of the United States.

The term describes any situation when a suspect has run, on foot, from law enforcement officers. 

Used in a sentence: The suspect crashed his vehicle during the pursuit and bushbonded into the wood line.
